🔸 What does HDR Contrast score measure?
This score reflects the impact of peak brightness and contrast performance (including highlight pop). It visually captures how well high-nit HDR is displayed, even if exact nit values aren't shown.
🔸 Is bitrate factored into the video analysis?
Yes. The “Compression” score indirectly evaluates bitrate quality by assessing the presence of visible artifacts, such as banding, macroblocking or softness due to encoding limits.
🔸 What does Dialogue Audio Clarity represent?
It reflects how clearly voices are delivered through the center speaker, especially in complex mixes. A low score may indicate muffled vocals or bad mixing priority.
🔸 What are ‘Heights’ in Atmos?
Height channels are the overhead speakers used in Dolby Atmos mixes. The “Overall Immersion” score accounts for how well these are used alongside surround effects.
🔸 Is there a raw score or just these categories?
Each category receives a 1–10 score based on its individual performance. These are shown as filters for detailed control. A total Dolby Vision or Atmos score may also be displayed where applicable.
🔸 How are these Dolby Atmos scores determined?
They’re based on measured data from calibrated mics and a multi-channel capture setup. Objective factors like height usage, dynamic range and dialogue clarity are analyzed, then compared to reference demos. A final score and quality label is applied after a subjective verification step.
