🔸 How are Seasons and Episodes shown?
For simplicity, the season and total episode count are displayed together in one line (e.g., Season 1 – 9 episodes).
🔸 How is bitrate measured for TV shows?
Bitrate values are usually taken from the most recent episode available since variations in streaming compression between episodes are typically minimal.
🔸 How is HDR range determined?
HDR range is calculated as the average of all episodes in the season. Highlights for the best episode may be shown when available.
🔸 Do HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos apply to every episode?
Not necessarily. Support can vary by episode. If at least one episode in the season has HDR10+ or Dolby Atmos, the 4K Playback Support section will reflect that capability at the season level.
Note: Playback quality (like 4K resolution, HDR format, or Atmos) may also vary by platform and app version.
🔸 What does “Total Runtime” mean?
This is the combined runtime of all episodes in the season, a quick way to know how many hours of content are available.
🔸 What about technical specs like audio formats?
Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 5.1 and other audio capabilities are shown only if confirmed from real metadata, not just marketing claims.
🔸 Are these metrics updated?
Yes, data reflects the As of date shown in the “Additional Info” section, which is when the season was last analyzed.
🔸 Current curation criteria (preview):
- – 4K TV Shows from 2025 with IMDb 6.5+ and Rotten Tomatoes “Fresh” ≥ 60%.
- – 4K TV Shows from 2024 and earlier that meet: IMDb ≥ 7.5 with 100,000+ votes and Rotten Tomatoes “Fresh” ≥ 70%.
